When booking your appointment with the GP, please be aware we only book an appointment up to 3 weeks in advance, if available. We do keep a percentage of our appointments for on the day booking only, so once our pre-booking slots are gone, you will need to phone in on the day you require the appointment for.
Following your consult with the GP, if they have requested to see you again for review, please ensure you book your appointment with reception before you leave. If you do not do this and just phone up on the day you would have been due to return, an appointment cannot be guaranteed.
Please remain respectful to our staff when booking appointments. They can only give you an appointment if one is available. Abusive behaviour or language towards any of our staff will not be tolerated. Any such behaviour could result in deregistration from the Practice.
If your calling with an illness you think may be contagious e.g. Chicken Pox, Shingles etc.. please phone in to make an appointment and do not attend the surgery in person.
If you are looking for an appointment for more than 1 person, you need to make this known at the time of booking. Extra patients will not be seen unless they have an appointment. Appointments cannot be swapped out for other people, the person who the appointment is booked for is the person who must attend.
Our Blood Test Clinics are on a Tuesday & Thursday between 9am & 11.45am. Blood Tests can be pre-booked, so they do tend to book up as much as 3 weeks in advance. If you require a blood test but are unable to attend either of our clinics, we will be more than happy to organise a blood form for you to book an appointment through swift queue for the hospital. Please be advised, you can only book bloods if they have been requested by the nurse or doctor in the surgery or if they are for a consultant's visit. If your bloods are for a consultant, please ensure you have a blood form with you. We cannot facilitate emergency bloods. If you needs bloods done before we have an available appointment, it is advised to get these done through swiftqueue.
Please ensure when you are booking your appointment, you are booked in with the correct person, namely the GP or the Nurse. If you are not sure who you should be booked in to see, please see the list below.
If you are looking for an appointment for any of the following, please request an appointment with the nurse.
Blood Tests, Cervical Smears, Wound Checks & Dressings, Child & Adult Immunisations, Blood Pressure Checks, Blood Pressure Monitors, ECG's,Removal of Stitches & Staples, Cryotherapy, Contraceptive Care, Urine Infections and CDM / PP.
