Chaperone Notice
All patients have the right to request a chaperone during any consultation, examination, or procedure where this may be appropriate.
A chaperone can be:
- A trained member of the practice staff, or
- A friend or family member of your choice (where appropriate)
Please inform the receptionist or doctor before your appointment, or at any time during the consultation, if you would like a chaperone present.
If a suitable chaperone is not available, we may offer to reschedule the appointment.
Your dignity, privacy, and comfort are always respected.
